Course Description

On completion of the course students will:

- Be able to comprehend text at sentence, paragraph and text level

- Identify key information in listening and reading texts

- Be aware of academic conventions and guidelines and apply them to outputs

- Extract, synthesise and analyse information from a range of sources and formulate responses to specific question

- Research, develop and deliver a presentation

- Produce written work which is well organised, relevant and uses appropriate terminology
