This course is open only to Mode B Junior Honours students of French (Joint Honours) fulfilling their residence abroad requirements in a French-speaking country. This is a correspondence course. It runs over the second half-session.

Course Description

The course, open only to Mode B Junior Honours students of French fulfilling their residence abroad requirements in a French-speaking country, runs over the second half-session and is designed to complement language work done in FR3089 and language acquisition during the period of residence abroad. The aim of the course is to develop a high level of both receptive and productive skills in French. It will give students the opportunity to develop their translation skills, to do research autonomously and to present their findings in an appropriate form and register in French.

750-word essay (34%), project plan (33%), 400-500 word translation (33%)
