Summative Assessments

1st Attempt

  • 1500-word primary source project (100%)

Resit

  • 1500-word primary source project (new topic - 100%)

Formative Assessment

  • Five 140-characters 'tweet-style' responses to seminar topics
  • 1500-word draft primary source project

Feedback

Alongside the 2 weekly lectures a separate 1-hour 'Consultation hour' will be timetabled whereby students can question and clarify matters with the lecturer. Furthermore verbal feedback will be given routinely at the ten 1-hour tutorials. Instant feedback will take the form of pass/fail results for 140-character 'tweet-style' responses.
