Course Description

This is a seminar-based course that provides an opportunity to explore current research in mental health, with a focus on emerging trends, gaps in the literature, and new developments in mental wellness. Students will engage with a variety of topics, such as the latest research in treatment options or how to maintain mental wellness across the lifespan. The course may include discussions on the challenges and developments in mental health research and their impact on both practice and policy.

Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to learn through discussion and, potentially, learn from practitioners or expert researchers in the field. The students will have the opportunity to practice professional and academic discourse and communication. This course provides a platform for critical thinking and allows students to contribute to ongoing discussions on the future of mental health care and research.
