An important aspect of working in a professional applied psychology context, whether that is focused on human factors, organisational psychology, or both, is the ability to integrate and present knowledge. This will usually take the form of a psychology project, conducted to address a specific problem or question. The project may encompass a review of the literature, quantitative or qualitative research, or an industrial project. For this course students will conduct a library- or research-based project, under the supervision of an academic from within the School of Psychology.

How will this course be taught? This in-person course will be delivered via individual supervision from a member of academic staff within the School of Psychology. You will meet with your supervisor regularly to discuss your project and your approach.
What does this course entail? The focus of this course is on producing a project report in response to a specific question. This will require you to synthesise your knowledge and understanding on Human Factors and Organisational Psychology.

9,000-word thesis. Assessment brief will be provided alongside a handbook giving guidance as to the expectations for the project report. Students will also receive one-to-one supervision from an academic supervisor. Reports will be submitted via Turnitin and marked using a marking rubric. Feedback will be provided via the rubric. |

Students will submit a poster via Turnitin, and will also print the poster and take part in a poster presentation session. The basis for the assessment grade will be the copy submitted via Turnitin. Feedback will be provided via the marking rubric and associated Quickmarks. |
