The aim of this course is to improve your skills as arbitral counsel and/or as arbitrator. This is done in a series of presentations and workshops taught across a single 5-day working week in a prime venue in the centre of the London: Royal Overseas League Members Club in St. James’, Central London.
It is a premium course with world leading practitioner input in the context of a realistic case scenario which will unfold as the week develops.
London is a leading international arbitral hub, and the course will tap into the local (as well as international) expertise to help students learn how arbitrations work in practice.
The course is designed for those working in international arbitration or who wish to do so.
The course offers an opportunity to network among what we expect to be an international cohort of arbitration professionals. We will have opportunities after the course for those on it to continue to network with their classmates and with later cohorts.
You will not need to purchase any reading materials, as you will have access to the impressive online library at the School of Law while on the course, as well as a reference materials pack. All essential course materials will be available in electronic and/or hard copy format at no additional cost.
The only course assessment is a single reflective essay due within one month of the course conclusion. Students will also have the opportunity to obtain feedback on further (optional) document drafts submitted within 3 months of the end of the course.
By taking this course, you will improve your professional performance, leading to better results for your clients. You will also be equipped to improve your reputation within the profession, with decision makers and with current (and prospective) clients. This course will make a real, practical difference to how you advocate/decide in arbitral cases.
The total course fee is £8,500 plus VAT, to include all materials, tuition and assessment.
Information on contact teaching time is available from the course guide.
