Course Description

The Dissertation for MSc in Teaching Chinese in a Global Context allows students to conduct a substantial research project on a topic of their choice, aligned with their academic and professional interests. Under the guidance of a supervisor, students will design and execute a study that incorporates appropriate research methodologies and theoretical frameworks. The course emphasises the development of advanced skills in critical analysis, academic writing, and problem-solving.

Through this process, students will explore key issues in teaching Chinese as a global language, such as instructional practices, learner engagement, cross-cultural communication, or educational policy.
