Course Description

The Consulting Challenge requires the students to produce a report that is the practical application of sound academic theory. In consultation with their supervisor, students will be able to reflect on, and learn, integrate new knowledge and apply it in the context of business consultancy. Each Consulting Challenge will be mentored by a qualified supervisor.

Students will first either identify a company they want to consult to or be given a case study to review and identify the consulting problem or discuss this with the course coordinator. Upon approval, a supervisor will be assigned to each student. Students will then be given primary and secondary research methodologies options to further explore the consulting problem through research design, data collection, analysis, synthesis and produce recommendations.
