Course Description

Students are expected to produce a dissertation of 20,000 words. The dissertation should be written on a topic related to the student's taught Master's programme and be agreed to by the supervisor. Students should learn to: identify an area of research and formulate appropriate questions; work independently within the given time frame; deliver a coherent thesis accompanied by an appropriate academic apparatus.
