This is the third course in the programme which focuses on endodontics and the relationship between the endodontic canal system and the periodontium.

Course Description

This course provides and review of the theory and practical provision of endodontic practice and root canal treatment using both traditional hand files and rotary instrumentation.  The second residential programme (in a series of three) gives the opportunity for face to face interaction with the tutors and will revise the practical application of the principles and procedures covered in the Getting Better at General Practice course and the Expanding Prosthodontic Skills for the Advanced General Practitioner courses.

The topic of restoration extensively damaged teeth will be discussed and the relationship between pulpal and periodontal disease explored. Towards the end of the course the principles underpinning implant provision will be considered.
