The course aims to provide students with an understanding of Issues in International Management as viewed from a number of diverse perspectives eg Accountancy & Finance; Coaching; Oil & Gas; Entrepreneurship; Technology. The course provides advanced knowledge relevant to further study and careers in a broad range of areas including business management.

The course focuses on the functional aspects of business (e.g. Accountancy and Finance, Operations, Marketing and HRM) as well as some of key challenges for business (e.g. Leadership, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility). In both cases the course critically explores: (1) the challenges presented by the international environment, the theories, frameworks and models presented in academia; and (2) industry practice.
