The first research project of the MRes programme involves working on an independent research project prior to completion of a dissertation. It involves utilisation of much of the skills developed throughout the previous semester, and is selected based on student interests and preferences.
|Session||Second Sub Session||Credit Points||60 credits (30 ECTS credits)|
The research project is conducted under supervision of a research active member of the teaching team in either a laboratory, clinical or library setting. It aims to develop a high level of investigative understanding amongst students providing an opportunity to put much of the learning and teaching experienced through the programme to use. Topics vary depending upon project offerings, although a wide variety of interests in the clinical pharmacology field are always represented.
Information on contact teaching time is available from the course guide.
Assessed by completion of a literature review, a project report in the style of a manuscript and a seminar style presentation.
