This course is an opportunity for students studying the MSc in Cultural and Creative Communication to gain valuable work experience by doing a project-based placement with a cultural or creative organisation.

Course Description

This course allows students to design and deliver a project in a work situation, in partnership with an organisation in the cultural or creative sector. This project will be agreed with the course co-ordinator and a representative of the partner organisation. Students will be expected to spend one day a week over a ten-week period, or equivalent, working with the partner organisation. Partner organisations may include Aberdeen Performing Arts, May Festival, National Trust for Scotland, University of Aberdeen Libraries and Museums, Sound Festival.

Summative Assessments

Project Proposal (10%), Learning Log (40%) and a Reflective Report of 2,500 words (40%).
