Course Overview

This course will provide exposure to the wider social and political context of healthcare education and support students to contribute to curriculum development and informed educational debate and discussion. Students will attend face to face sessions. Assessment will be in the form of a reflective account and submission of a proposal for change/research project.

Summative Assessments

1st attempt: Portfolio piece 1 x 1500 words on one of the workshop topics and how this relates to the student’s practice; Protocol for a Clinical Education Project x1 2500 words.
