Course Description

Students will critically engage in the theoretical frameworks of ethics and ethical leadership to understand these conceptualisations. These concepts are problematised, with students expected to navigate the ethical complexities amidst the competing demands of the workplace. Students will critically engage with conceptualisations of ethics and ethical leadership and begin to use these in context, using a dialogical approach.

Critical ethical decision-making skills are developed through the problematisation of dilemmas using relevant case studies to build realistic and challenging scenarios that build personal awareness and highlight professional challenges. This course also supports students to interrogate cultural practice and navigate ethical complexity amidst competing professional demands, and gain perspective from leaders in a variety of sectors.

Details, including assessments, may be subject to change until 31 August 2026 for Term 1 and Full Year courses and 8 January 2027 for Term 2 courses.
