This course helps educators develop a deeper knowledge of how to support all learners to achieve their best. The course delivers content that supports innovative and inclusive pedagogies such as inclusive practice, trauma-informed practice, playful learning approaches, and digital learning, all through a lens of practitioner enquiry to enhance practice.

This online course will support educators to continue to develop and enhance pedagogies that support an innovative and inclusive learning environment. This course would be helpful for teachers, early years educators and other educators who support the learning of children and young people.
The live online sessions explore different aspects of an innovative and inclusive learning environment through the lens of practitioner enquiry and include inclusive practice, trauma-informed practice, playful learning approaches, and digital pedagogies.
Each session will focus on one area of practice and consider how leadership of learning can be further developed to support educators in meeting the diverse needs of learners.

Individual Portfolio worth 50% of the overall grade - choice of mode of assessment e.g. vignettes, poster, Panopto presentation, or sketch notes. Feedback will be made available on MyAberdeen through in-text comments and feedback on each Learning Outcome, general feedback and next steps. |
