Course Description

Demonstrating knowledge and critical understanding of relevant theoretical ideas, you will plan and be observed delivering a learning experience which takes account of the various factors that impact on learning and teaching. Your plan and learning experience together will demonstrate how the GTCS Standards for college lecturers (2018) underpin your practice.

Following an observation of practice by a course tutor, your plan will form part of a professional dialogue, after which you will reflect on the feedback received, on the implications for future practice and for your own professional development.

Details, including assessments, may be subject to change until 31 August 2025 for 1st Term courses and 19 December 2025 for 2nd Term courses.
