Saint Nicholas, continued.

Prayer, Sancte Nicholae serve, continued.

The author asks for protection from evil and dishonour. He asks that St Nicholas, who prevented three girls from being shamed, giving gold to them and their father to relieve their poverty (GL, pp 17-18), will intercede for him and help him to withstand evil, persevere in good, overcome poverty, and adhere to one faith and teaching.

Roga pro me do\minum deum nostrum ut per te me a malo proposito re\vocet. In bono me perseverare concedat omnem\ inopiam [a] me repellat. Amen.
