Welcome to the School of Biological Sciences!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) as you start your PhD journey. This page outlines key information to help you settle in.
Where is SBS Located?
SBS is primarily based across three buildings on our Old Aberdeen Campus: the Zoology Building, The Cruickshank Building, and 23 St Machar Drive. A map of the Old Aberdeen Campus can be found here.
Where is SBS Main Office?
Zoology Building Room G32. Office hours: 10:00-12:00 & 13:30-16:00, Monday – Friday.
To reach Zoology G32, please enter the Zoology Building by the front door. Once you have done this, please turn right as you face the stairs, unlock the door to the right of the lifts by touching your student ID card on the card reader next to the door. Once through the door, you will be in a corridor with vending machines on the right-hand side. Please go down this corridor and G32 will be on your right, about halfway down. If you go to the office window during office hours, a staff memeber will notify the School Administration (Research) you have arrived. Please note that all students must go to the office window and not into the office itself.
