School of Medicine and Dentistry
The School of Medicine and Dentistry, alongside the School of Medical Sciences offers degrees in Medicine, Health Sciences and now Dentistry, with a wide range of postgraduate taught courses and research opportunities across the spectrum of medicine and medical science.
Research in the Institute of Medical Sciences and the Institute of Applied Health Sciences is carried out in new, purpose built buildings, incorporating state of the art facilities, located on the same site as and in close proximity to the major teaching hospital serving the North East of Scotland. This environment enables scientists and clinicians to interact and has facilitated the development of high quality translational research programmes within the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, and Medical Sciences.
