Essential Maintenance to Print Service that controls Multi Function Devices (MFDs) & Networked Printers – Friday 3 September 2010
What is happening?
DIT Service Engineers will be carrying out planned maintenance on the Print Service. This is the service that controls the MFDs and departmental networked printers. This work will take place between 08:00 and 08:30 on Friday 3 September 2010. As a result, the Print Service will be at risk during the maintenance period.
What should you do?
During this time, there may be some brief interruptions to the Print Service. As a result we would recommend:
- Any essential printing, photocopying or scanning using the MFDs, or any printing using departmental printers, is done before the planned work
- During the planned work, do not perform any printing, photocopying or scanning using the MFDs, or any printing using departmental printers
