HSRU Public Engagement

HSRU think it is important to make health services research accessible.

Our staff and public partners regularly interact with the broader public, patients and  specific communities to share research findings, exchange perspectives, and foster dialogue.  This is done in a variety of ways including online and in person interractions.

Christmas Clinical Trial at Arduthie Primary school

In December 2022, HSRU’s Public Engagement Group (PEG) sent out a Christmas clinical trial activity to one of the local schools in Stonehaven. In the activity pack they included an information leaflet, giving an overview of what clinical trials are and why they are so important, and an activity sheet asking pupils to design a Christmas Clinical Trial.  Some of the winning pictures are below and you can read the full story here.
