Cafe MED: Weight loss surgery - a magic pill?

This is a past event

Obesity reduces the quality of life for individuals and puts a strain on health services. We will ask whether surgery is currently our best method of intervention and explore what might be on offer in the future.

Join us for an informal discussion bringing together the public with leading figures in medicine and biosciences. At Cafe MED we invite our top researchers and clinicians to discuss how current research is being translated into improved treatments and care.

The Cafe MED series runs from January until May. All events are FREE to attend and require no advance booking. You can see the full programme of events here.

Follow Cafe MED on Facebook.
