Hear about the extraordinary women who helped to shape the modern world and wrote their own stories.

When did women get interested in science?  Were their scientific careers limited by their gender? And what impact did writing about science have? The 'Women, Science, Narrative' project at the University of Aberdeen has been researching how women have written about all kinds of science, from botany to dentistry, since the early 1800s. At this panel event, meet the researchers and hear about the extraordinary women who helped to shape the modern world and wrote their own stories. This talk will be accompanied by the University of Aberdeen Inspirational Women Exhibition.
