Gone are the days when dentistry consisted of losing teeth and having dentures. Modern understanding of dental diseases, their prevention and treatment have improved beyond recognition in 30 years. In Scotland 84% adults and 91% children are now registered with a dentist however, the number actually seeing their dentist is much lower and dental decay remains a major cause of hospital admissions in those aged 5 - 9. Come along to the latest in the Cafe MEd series to learn more about everything oral.
