The University of Aberdeen's Ministry Studies presents a one-day workshop on the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and today's Christian Ministry.

Dorothee Soelle once wrote that "Dietrich Bonhoeffer is the one German theologian who will lead us into the third millennium." Over the course of a day we’ll be engaging with facets of Bonhoeffer’s life and work with a view to discerning their importance for orienting and energising the practice of Christian ministry today.  Together with talks by Drs. Mike Mawson and Philip Ziegler, the workshop will feature contributions from our distinguished Professors Tom Greggs and Stanley Hauerwas. Those who attend will also have an opportunity to engage with some of the best work on Bonhoeffer’s legacy being done by our current research students, many of whom are themselves keyed vocationally to pastoral ministry.
