Speakers from Scotland and Poland come together to discuss the integration of Polish Immigrants in Scotland.

Scotland has seen a twenty-fold increase in the number of Polish migrants since the turn of the century. Despite this, few resources exist to deal with issues related to integration. Join Professor Karin Friedrich as she brings together a photographic exhibition and roundtable featuring speakers from Poland and the UK. Representing charitable, governmental and academic sectors, speakers will explore and discuss how cultural heritage links between Scotland and Poland can help newcomers with integration and well-being and examine how such experiences might help in a wider European migration context.

This event is part of the Being Human Festival, which runs 15 - 23 November. To visit the full programme please visit www.abdn.ac.uk/engage/beinghuman
