Museum Lecture Series - "Wishing to subjugate the whole of Britain, he invaded Caledonia": the British expedition of Septimius Severus, AD208-11
During term-time the Museum hosts lectures on most Tuesday evenings. These include lectures organised by the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, the Elphinstone Institute, Egyptology Scotland and the Aberdeen Scottish Hellenic Society. We also host a variety of other events, workshops, lectures and conferences through the year.
This lecture is to be held in the Regent Building Lecture Theatre and entry is free.
