Don't miss a fascinating and entertaining talk by Martin Frost on the book art known as fore-edge painting on Saturday 26th November, 4-5pm in the Special Collections Seminar Room in The Sir Duncan Rice Library.

Fore-edge painter Martin Frost has painted the edges of well over 3500 books. He has published articles and lectured to many major organisations interested in the art and craft of the book. His work is to be found in many national and international institutions and private collections. His illustrated talk on fore-edge painting will describe the history of this secret art and give an introduction to the techniques used as well as featuring examples from Martin Frost's 40-year portfolio.
