Dr Teresa Cardoso, from Open University Lisbon, will be visiting the School as part of an ERASMUS staff training.

Dr Cardoso is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Aberta (Open University Portugal), where she teaches (in undergraduate and postgraduate courses) and supervises Master Dissertations and PhD Theses. She is a researcher at the Laboratory of Distance Education and eLearning (LE@D). She was the R&D Unit's Scientific Coordinator (June 2015-September 2018), and she has been collaborating in several national and international projects (since 2010). She is a teacher trainer accredited by the Scientific and Pedagogical Council of Continuing Education of the Portuguese Ministry of Education, author and editor of publications. She is also a member of scientific / editorial Committees and has participated in the organization of scientific events. She was co-responsible for the implementation of the Wikipedia Education Program in Portugal, namely for the first Portuguese curricular integration of Wikipedia included in the Wikipedia University Program - Wikimedia Foundation. Her research topics also include open education, games and mobile learning, and ICT in educational contexts.
