The Scottish Committee of RCOG is able to offer an annual award of £500 to be awarded to one medical student affiliated to a Scottish medical school for the purpose of subsidising the cost of undertaking an elective study on obstetrics & gynaecology abroad. Only undergraduate medical students currently affiliated to a Scottish medical school are eligible to apply and up to 2 awards are available each year. Applications for travel to a developing country are particularly encouraged.
The award will be awarded to an undergraduate medical student resident in the UK to facilitate travel overseas to enable further teaching and exposure to obstetrics and gynaecology outside the United Kingdom (UK).
