This family photograph of William Ritch surrounded by his children was taken around 1900 and is owned by Simon Goodwin, William Ritch and Sophia Wynn’s great-great grandson. All the Ritch children were adults and some had families of their own when their father retired from the Hudson’s Bay Company and left Canada.
