Mukluks

During the 1960s mukluks made with red corduroy or velvet were popular in several communities in northern Manitoba such as Pimicikamak (Cross Lake) and Nisichawayasihk (Nelson House First Nation). This pair is trimmed with mink fur and the beadwork panels are sewn onto unsmoked caribou hide.
