Folio 54r

Miscellaneous prayers, mainly to Jesus Christ, continued.

Prayer, Sanctissimi apostoli domini, continued.

The author invokes the three apostles, who ascended the Mount of Olives with Christ and for whom Christ had a special affection. He asks that, through Christ's grief at the time of his betrayal, through the power of his prayer, through his sufferings, and through the compassion the apostles showed to Christ and to their fellow disciples, they may have mercy upon him, comfort him, and intercede for him.

Prayer, Domine Ihesu Christe piissime.

A prayer to Jesus Christ. The author invokes Christ as redeemer of the world who, on the day before his passion, transmitted to his disciples the mystery of his body and blood.
