Saint Bridget.
Prayer, Gaude eternaliter benedictum..
St Bridget (Birgitta) of Sweden (1303-73), seemingly dictating to a scribe. She
established the Brigettine Order. The presence of a depiction of St Bridget in
this Psalter may provide important evidence as to the manuscript's patronage and
early provenance.
