Prayer, O dulcis Maria, continued.



The Virgin is to be blessed for her virginity, purity, fidelity, suffering and chastity. Through her, God became man. Through her, the righteous find grace; the sinner, pardon; the dead, life; and the exile, his homeland.

Prayer, O Mater benedicta.



A prayer to St Bridget, bride of Christ. The author, a penitent woman, asks that she may be delivered from the snares of the devil and, at the end of her life, from the wickedness of mankind.
