Prayer, Domine deus omnipotens. Tu, continued.



She asks that through God's holy spirit she may persevere in his ways and that she may not be distracted by temptation.

A prayer of St Bridget to the Virgin Mary, asking that her love for Christ may be strengthened.

O mea carissima domina. Rogo te per\ caritatem dilecti filii tui ut dones\ michi auxilium eum toto corde diligere. Ego sencio\ me debilem ad diligendum eum tam ardenti ca\ritate ut deberem. Ideo rogo te mater misericordie ut li\gare digneris caritatem eius super cor meum. Et at\trahe illud ad filium tuum toto conamine, Sepa\ratum ab omni dilectione carnali. Et eo valen\cius attrahe quo fuerit ponderosius.
