Come along to chat about applying for our undergraduate programmes.

The University of Aberdeen is delighted to be visiting Northern Ireland on 10th and 11th September 2015 to provide information about studying in Scotland and at the University of Aberdeen and to meet those who are interested in making an application to the University.

Each year approximately 40% of young people move away from Northern Ireland for university with the majority of these accepting places at universities in Scotland.  The University of Aberdeen receives several hundred applications each year from students in Northern Ireland, for a wide range of subjects from law, engineering, medicine, through to history, English, psychology, geology, biological sciences and many more.

Hosted by Methodist College Belfast, Options 2015 aims to support young people as they make the important decision of which course to choose and which university to attend.  All those from Northern Ireland interested in pursuring higher education are welcome to attend.  Typically pupils will attend as part of a school group but independent registrations for the event are also very welcome, especially if your school would not otherwise be in attendance.  To make it more convenient to attend, the event coincides with the Queen's University Belfast Open Day.

There are two sessions:

10th September, 6pm - 9pm.

11th September, 12 noon - 4pm.

Booking is essential.  To register please contact Sandra Shields by email on sshields852@c2kni.net or on telephone number 02890 808045.
