20000 Leagues Under the Sea
Take a tour round the University of Aberdeen's Oceanlab and hear from scientists conducting cutting edge research from around the world. Take part in an evening celebrating marine science with short presentations on topics including the Arctic deep sea and videos from deep-sea coral reefs.
The event concludes with a tour around the Oceanlab environmental testing facilities and the opportunity to examine first-hand the effects of pressure that organisms living the deep-sea are exposed to every day.

3. In Person Tickets can be bookin in person at the city centre box offices at His Majesty’s Theatre or The Lemon Tree and are open from 9.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Saturday.
4. At the venue Tickets for an event MAY also be available at the venue immediately prior to the event. Please see the event descriptions within the TechFest programme for locations.
Please note that any tickets purchased at the venue will be cash payment only.
