Overview

The course will examine methods in Forensic Pathology including identification, post mortem changes and timing of death, modes and causes of death and injury of medicolegal significance and disposal of the dead.

Structure

2 one-hour lectures per week.

The course, which will complement Forensic Medicine 1, will deal with Toxicology, medical aspects of sexual crimes, the scene of unexpected death, the impact of civil law on medical practice and the requirements of the statutory law in medical practice.
