Uma Thomas and Kevin Momanyi
HERU welcomes Uma Thomas and Kevin Momanyi who start PhDs in HERU this week.
Uma has received an Institute of Applied Health Sciences studentship from the University of Aberdeen. She will be working with Marjon van der Pol and Julia Allan (from Health Psychology, University of Aberdeen) on a part-time PhD project on the role of time preferences in changing health behaviours.
Kevin will be working with Diane Skåtun and Paul McNamee on an ESRC/Scottish Government funded studentship entitled 'Enhancing quality in social care through economic analysis'.
