I am the lady o the lan,
Wannerin freely fae wids tae san,
Alane in the derkness I wanner,
Wannerin far intae the distance,
As i sun swiftly rises.

I am the lady o the lan,
Gowden dreeps flow doon,
Nae hermin me,
Bit bringin life tae the grun,
Derkness slidders in the sky.

I am the lady o the lan,
Watchin ma plant bairns,
Sleepin, bit still livin in ma lan,

The lan an lady are peacefu.
