Biography: Son of Alexander Cheyne; born Monquhitter, Aberdeenshire, 30 November 1891. M.B., 1914; D.P.H., 1920. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders (T.F.), 1909. A.U.O.T.C. Commissioned, R.A.M.C. Served- France, April-December 1918. Final rank, Lieutenant.
