Biography: Son of Donald Campbell; born Maryburgh, 12 September 1885. M.A., 1912. Joined 4th Seaforth Highlanders, 1904. Re-enlisted, August 1914; commissioned, January 1915. Served-Home, France, August 1914-April 1919. Final rank, Captain. Military Cross. Croix de Guerre (Gold Star), 1918.
