Biography: Son of James Haddon; born Aberdeen, 12 October 1871. M.A., 1891. Private, A.R.A. (V.), October 1889; commissioned, 5th Volunteer Battalion, Gordon Highlanders (later 7th Gordon Highlanders), November 1891. Mobilized, August 1914. Served—Home, 1914-15, 1917-18; France, May-December 1916. Final rank, Lieutenant-Colonel T.D. Mentioned in despatches, January 1916.
