Thallon, Robert Erle

Biography: Son of Robert Edmonstone Thallon and Brenda Thallon, of Hampstead, London.; born Sydney, Australia, 1923; he entered the Royal Air Force in 1941, and attended a Cadets' course at the University. He was soon on operational duties and lost his life when the aircraft in which he was flying as Captain was shot down over Holland. He is buried in the General Cemetery at Flushing.
