Taylor, James Duthie

Biography: Son of James Taylor and of Margaret Taylor (nee Duthie), of Aberdeen; nephew of Mrs. J. A. Duthie, of Aberdeen.; born Aberdeen, 1916 ; educated at Aberdeen Central School. He served an apprenticeship with Messrs. Blake, Ltd., Aberdeen, but in 1939 entered the University to take the medical course. In 1940 he joined the Black Watch, from which he was later transferred to the London Scottish. He saw a good deal of service with his unit till he fell in action in March 1944.
