Ross, Charles Hugh Eddie

Biography: Son of Charles Hendry Dundas Ross and Mary Eddie Ross, late of 20 Grampian Circle, Aberdeen ; born Edinburgh, 1914 ; educated at Aberdeen Grammar School. In 1935 he graduated M.A. with Honours in English, and thereafter taught in Thornley Park School, Paisley. He entered the Royal Air Force in December 1940. He had just completed his training as a Navigator when he was killed on active service on 8 February 1943.
