Robertson, John Kennedy

Biography: Son of John and Jessie Langlands Kennedy Robertson, 10 Linksfield Road, Aberdeen ; ; educated at Robert Gordon's College. In 1940 he entered the University as a student in the Faculty of Arts and joined the O.T.C. Volunteering for the Royal Air Force he was trained as a Bomb-aimer, and later he was trained to intercept the German messages during flying operations. He lost his life when the bomber in which he was flying was shot down over Germany on 26 November 1943. He was buried in St. Trond Cemetery, Belgium, and later removed to the British Cemetery at Louvain, Belgium.
