Riddell, William

Biography: Son of William and Mary Riddell, Nether Coullie, Kemnay ; born Fintray, 9 May 1922 ; educated at Inverurie Academy. For two years he studied engineering at the University. He entered the Royal Air Force in 1942 and was sent to Canada for training. Commissioned in 1944 he went on active service, and on 6 December of the same year he was reported missing during air operations over Germany and was presumed to have been killed at that time.
